M&E System Development and Capacity Building
In 2018, OHW awarded a contract to AACS Consulting to help develop a practical Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system that would enable OHW to collect appropriate data and track projects’ progress and results. The scope of the contract also included a capacity building component that would offer training and capacity building to select OHW M&E and program staff.
Upon selection of the preferred option, an efficient web-based M&E system, AACS Consulting deployed the requisite guides, tools, and templates. Subsequently, a three-day training workshop focusing on the new framework, key indicators, tools, and processes, was also delivered. The aim was to ensure no questions remained unanswered and that all concerned OHW staff members were fully capable of conducting proper M&E using the new system.
The deployment of the new M&E system and the comprehensive capacity building offered by AACS Consulting helped OHW appropriately monitor project progress, track key indicators, document results and lessons learned, and share timely and reliable monitoring data with its various stakeholders.
