Shafiq Ahmad Faqirzada is a Research and M&E Project Manager at AACS Consulting. He has a rich experience of over nine years in research and policy development. Shafiq obtained an MBA from Kardan University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Balkh University.

Prior to joining AACS Consulting, Shafiq was working as a Senior Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan and previously worked as Economic Researcher and Monetary Policy Senior Analyst with Afghanistan Central Bank. He has also had collaborations with several private universities teaching macroeconomic subjects.
