We are seeking for an experienced and talented Research and Analysis Manager to join our team. 

Position Purpose/ Summary  

We are currently seeking a Research & Analysis Manager to join our team and help initiate our annual fellowship program. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for managing the fellowship program at AACS Consulting and assist in the Research & MEL activities of the firm. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the program runs smoothly and that fellows receive the support they need to succeed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the firm's fellowship program, including developing program guidelines, timelines, and application processes
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the fellowship program
  • Cooperate with the marketing and communications department to publicize the fellowship program across institutes and universities to recruit exceptional fellows
  • Recruit, select, and manage fellows
  • Coordinate with the program team to develop fellowship project proposals, budgets, and work plans
  • Train the fellows, monitor their progress, and provide regular feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner and donor organizations
  • Plan and organize events related to the fellowship program
  • Work closely with the senior team to ensure the success of the program
  • Manage program budgets and ensure that funds are used effectively.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure the timely release of fellowships.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on the program's progress
  • Develop and implement a system for evaluating the effectiveness of the fellowship program and adjust as needed.
  • Provide support to fellows in their professional development beyond the scope of their projects.
  • Manage the fellowship application process, including reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and notifying applicants of their status.
  • Develop and manage a network of alumni fellows to support ongoing learning and exchange of experiences.
  • Maintain company website and write, manage, and edit content on the SharePoint portal.
  • Assist with internal projects and create PowerPoint presentations for information sessions.
  • Tracks reports and ensures compliance with procedures regarding moonlighting, annual contracts, and initial and re-credentialing of trainees.
  • Assesses equipment acquisition and training needs and recommend to the Program Director.
  • Responsible for management of grants awarded to individual fellows
  • Identify and evaluate the methods for improving workflow and cost-effectiveness and recommend improvement to the Program Director.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of filing, record keeping, distribution of materials, and other types of office/program systems.
  • Evaluate and standardize office procedures and effectively troubleshoots and resolve issues.
  • Manage Research and MEL activities, in terms of preparing reports, conducting statistical tests, and reviewing reports.
  • Prepare technical proposals for third-party monitoring bids for clients.
  • Receive inquiries from fellows and applicants and reciprocate appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Research & Analysis.

Education:

  • Master's degree or a doctoral candidate in a relevant field like international development, public policy, economics, or business administration.
