We are seeking for an experienced and talented Executive Assistant to join our team. 

Job Description:

As a Livestock Research Specialist for Adroit Associates, you'll be at the forefront of livestock-related projects, spearheading research, and providing solutions to challenges faced by our clients in the livestock industry. In addition, you will play a central role in ensuring the projects' efficacy and impact through comprehensive MEL processes and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation & Relationship Management:
  • Engage with clients to identify their livestock-related challenges and goals.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, offering regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  1. Project Management:
  • Plan and oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and internal teams for effective project execution.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and devise strategies to address them.
  1. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL):
  • Design and implement MEL frameworks tailored to livestock projects.
  • Monitor and assess project progress against set objectives and targets.
  • Conduct evaluations to determine project outcomes and their impact.
  • Document and share key learnings to refine future projects and strategies.
  1. Research & Analysis:
  • Design and manage research projects tailored to client needs, focusing on areas like livestock health, breeding, nutrition, and management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate technology and innovative practices into livestock management.
  1. Data Analysis, Interpretation & Reporting:
  • Use statistical tools to assess data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
  • Draft comprehensive reports detailing findings, accompanied by clear visuals and actionable insights.
  • Present research findings and insights to clients, ensuring they understand the implications and recommended strategies.
  1. Industry Engagement & Continuous Learning:
  • Network with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry experts to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in livestock science.
 
Job Requirements:

Education:

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in livestock research, consultancy, or a related advisory role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in livestock management, health, and breeding techniques.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SPSS, or SAS.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to explain complex information to a non-expert audience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to various client locations in Afghanistan.
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
