We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides leadership to ensure and enhance organization performance by managing the financial aspects.
The CFO will provide substantive and strategic advice to the AACS Consulting team on risk-intelligent culture and risk management approaches, the Integrated Resources Plan and the Integrated Budget; internal financial planning; and the financial regulatory framework. The following are detailed duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a professional that has strong experience in data analysis of research, survey and M&E projects in Afghanistan. The candidate must have excellent writing skills, be a strong communicator, and the organizational skills required to manage M&E and research projects. The Data Analyst will work under the supervision of the Research and M&E Director. S/he will be responsible for the data analysis of multiple projects related to M&E, research and survey.
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Expert in KoBo Toolbox;
- Creating a project/questionnaire in KoBo Toolbox
- Creating different types of questionnaire transcription
- Understand editing and deploying a project/questionnaire
- Able to create reports and download data from KoBo Toolbox
- Having good knowledge of data management in KoBo Toolbox
- Understand getting blank forms, filling and submitting the form, and sending it to the server in KoBoCollect.
- Familiar with the login credentials in KoBoCollect
- Able to clean up different types of datasets
- Able to do Quantitative Analysis | Expert in SPSS
- Understand creating a clean database in SPSS and to interpret the datasets in SPSS
- Able to conduct cross-tabulation, regression, and correlation analysis
- Able to develop a different type of charts from the tables developed in SPSS
- Able to generate frequency and multiple response tables
- Able to do Qualitative Analysis | Manual Qualitative Analysis in Excel
- Prepare and organize the key informant interviews or focus group discussions data
- Review and explore the data, and create initial codes
- Review those codes and revise or combine them into themes
- Present themes in a cohesive manner
- Contribute to performance data quality assurance, data visualization, and client expectations
- Implementing overall data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Required Skills and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Social Science, or research field or in any other relevant field (Master degree is preferable).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in research, survey and M&E data analysis.
- Recent experience in data analysis and data visualization;
- Experience and advanced knowledge of KoBo and ODK tools is highly required;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SPSS
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in Pashto and Dari; working knowledge of English is highly required.

- High level of spoken and written proficiency in English is a must
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks while meeting deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and consistently with team members, clients and partners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
